Campers at Tail Race Farm will get one riding lesson per day and will also learn other aspects of horse and pony care such as feeding, tacking up, and grooming.Ages 6-13

Details:

Camp Hours 9am -2pm.

Includes Horsemanship, horseback riding, crafts, games.

Dress comfortably for riding, closed toe shoes.

Please bring a snack and lunch, water.
For the safety and comfort of our riders and horses, we have the following requirements in place:

Weight Limit: Riders must weigh 180 lbs or less to participate in mounted activities.

Fitness Requirements: Riders should have the strength and mobility to mount the horse with assistance, including the ability to lift their leg over the saddle while mounting and dismounting using a mounting block.

If a rider does not meet these requirements, we offer a range of groundwork and horse care activities to ensure everyone can enjoy meaningful experiences with our horses.
